9/3/2018 - Online Meeting Results in Stolen Car

IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF SUNDAY AUGUST 19TH, A VICTIM PICKED UP A FEMALE HE MET ONLINE FOR A DATE IN HIS BLUE 2017 FORD MUSTANG.  SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THEY STOPPED AT THE MARATHON STATION LOCATED AT 1900 NEWTOWN PIKE.  WHEN THE VICTIM WENT INSIDE THE STORE, THE SUSPECT DROVE OFF IN THE VICTIM’S CAR.  SHE DID NOT GIVE HIM HER CORRECT NAME.  SURVEILLANCE REVEALED THE VICTIM WAS FOLLOWED IN A SILVER CADILLAC BY UNKNOWN MALES THAT APPEAR TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE SUSPECT.

8/27/2018 - Bellefonte Stolen Car

ON JUNE 29TH, A VICTIM REPORTED HIS BLACK 2005 VOLVO HAD BEEN STOLEN FROM HIS DRIVEWAY ON BELLEFONTE DRIVE.  THE CAR WAS OBSERVED ON SURVEILLANCE IN THE PARKING LOT OF RITE AID IN TATES CREEK CENTER.  A FEMALE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA MAKING A PURCHASE INSIDE THE STORE.  THE VEHICLE WAS LOCATED ABANDONED ON JULY 6TH AT 2232 DINSMORE DRIVE.  THE SUSPECT APPEARS TO HAVE A SMALL TATTOO ON THE BACK OF HER LEFT SHOULDER.

8/20/2018 - Theft from The Castle

ON JUNE 17TH JUST AFTER NOON, A SUBJECT ENTERED THE CASTLE JEWELRY STORE LOCATED AT 2645 RICHMOND ROAD.  HE REQUESTED TO LOOK AT SEVERAL RINGS.  WHILE THE CLERK WAS OBTAINING A PRICE NEARBY, THE SUSPECT GRABBED A 2 CARAT DIAMOND RING FROM THE COUNTER AND RAN OUT OF THE STORE.  HE IS DESCRIBED AS LIGHT SKINNED MALE BLACK, 5’6” 150LBS.

8/13/2018 - LCA Break in and Fraud

ON TUESDAY JULY 24TH AROUND 9PM, AN EMPLOYEE OF LEXINGTON CHRISTIAN ACADEMY LOCATED AT 450 W REYNOLDS ROAD DISCOVERED HER CAR WINDOW HAD BEEN BROKEN OUT AND HER PURSE WAS STOLEN.  HER CREDIT CARDS WERE SUBSEQUENTLY USED IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER AT MEIJER AND KROGER FOR OVER $6000.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA MAKING THE FRAUDULENT PURCHASES.  THE VICTIM’S PURSE WAS LATER RECOVERED WITH ALL OF ITS CONTENTS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HER CREDIT CARDS.

8/6/2018 - Kimberly Dayton Cold Case Homicide

OCTOBER 27TH OF LAST YEAR, POLICE OFFICERS RESPONDED TO MATADOR APARTMENTS LOCATED AT 1053 WINBURN DRIVE REGARDING A DECEASED FEMALE.  THEY FOUND THE VICTIM, KIMBERLY DAYTON UNRESPONSIVE ON THE FLOOR.  IT WAS LATER DETERMINED SHE HAD DIED FROM ASPHYXIATION AND THE CASE WAS RULED A HOMICIDE.  NEARLY ONE YEAR LATER, DETECTIVES ARE SEARCHING FOR NEW LEADS IN THE CASE.

7/30/2018 - Boiling Springs Drive Theft and FraudSOLVED

ON JULY 13th, A VICTIM RESIDING ON BOILING SPRINGS DRIVE REPORTED HER VEHICLE HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO AND THE SUSPECT SOMEHOW GAINED ACCESS TO THE TRUNK OF HER CAR.  THE SUSPECT STOLE A BAG CONTAINING THE VICTIMS CREDIT CARDS.  THE STOLEN CARDS WERE FRAUDULENTLY USED AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS INCLUDING FOOT LOCKER, KROGER, FAMILY DOLLAR, PEIRCING PAGODA, MARATHON, SPEEDWAY AND THORNTONS.  TWO FEMALES AND ONE MALE WERE OBSERVED ON CAMERA PLACING CHARGES ON THE STOLEN CARDS.

7/23/2018 - Laundry Connection Burglary

 ON JULY 26TH AROUND 2:00AM OFFICERS RESPONDED TO AN ALARM AT LAUNDRY CONNECTION LOCATED AT 429 NEWTOWN PIKE.  WHEN THEY ARRIVED, THEY FOUND THE FRONT GLASS DOOR SHATTERED.  UPON REVIEW OF THE SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE, A SUBJECT THREW A ROCK THROUGH THE FRONT DOORS AND ENTERED WITH THE INTENT TO STEAL CASH OR CHANGE FROM A COIN OPERATED GAME MACHINE.  HE WAS UNABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE MONEY AND FLED THE SCENE.

IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF JUNE 13TH, A VICTIM REPORTED THEIR VEHICLE HAD BEEN BROKEN INTO ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE.  THEY ADVISED THE SUSPECT HAD STOLEN THEIR WALLET AND A SMITH AND WESSON SHIELD SEMI AUTOMATIC HANDGUN.  SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS CAPTURED THE SUSPECT AT 3 SEPARATE LOCATIONS USING THE VICTIMS CREDIT CARDS TO FRAUDULENTLY PURCHASE VISA GIFT CARDS AND A FATHERS DAY CARD.

IN DECEMBER 2017, AN EMPLOYEE OF BCTC LOCATED AT 470 COOPER DRIVE DISCOVERED SOMEONE HAD GONE INTO HER OFFICE AND STOLEN HER WALLET. A CHECK OF THE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS REVEALED TWO SUBJECTS ROAMING THE HALLWAYS AND CHECKING OFFICES.  LATER THAT SAME DAY, A FEMALE BLACK SUSPECT WEARING A BLUE AND YELLOW MICHIGAN PULLOVER WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA MAKING SEVERAL FRAUDULENT PURCHASES WITH THE VICTIM’S CREDIT CARDS AT MEIJER IN HAMBURG.

7/2/2018 - CVS Pharmacy Robbery

ON TUESDAY MAY 29TH AT 1:30AM, TWO SUSPECTS ARMED WITH HANDGUNS HELD UP A CLERK AND PHARMACIST AT CVS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 3097 OLD TODDS ROAD.  ONE SUSPECT ORDERED THE PHARMACIST TO TURN OVER SPECIFIC PAINKILLERS COMMONLY SOLD AND ABUSED ON THE STREET, WHILE THE OTHER SUSPECT ORDERED THE CLERK TO TURN OVER ALL OF THE CASH FROM THE REGISTER.  THEY WERE ABLE TO ESCAPE WITH SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS AND SEVERAL HUNDRED PILLS.
