IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF JUNE 11TH, THREE MALE SUBJECTS WERE SEEN WALKING IN FRONT OF THE FENCED IN LOT OF EHI HOME IMPROVEMENT LOCATED AT 1320 BRYAN AVENUE.  MOMENTS LATER, TWO OF THE SUBJECTS JUMPED THE FENCE AND PROCEEDED TO STEAL COMMERCIAL TOOLS FROM THE TRUCKS BELONGING TO THE BUSINESS.  THE SUSPECTS WERE CAPTURED ON CAMERA DURING THE COMMISSION OF THE THEFT AS WELL AS PAWNING THE TOOLS AT DANS DISCOUNT (328 E NEW CIRCLE ROAD) LATER THE SAME DAY.

ON THE AFTERNOON OF SATURDAY JUNE 3RD, A CUSTOMER AT THE MARRIOTT GOLF COURSE RETURNED TO HER CAR TO FIND THE PASSENGER WINDOW HAD BEEN SMASHED OUT.  HER PURSE, A LAPTOP, AND OTHER VALUABLE ITEMS WERE STOLEN.  THE SAME DAY, A SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA USING HER STOLEN CREDIT CARDS TO BUY GIFT CARDS AT WALMART ON NEW CIRCLE ROAD.

IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF JUNE 26TH, OFFICERS WERE DISPATCHED TO AN ALARM AT SONNYS CLEANERS LOCATED AT 804 CHEVY CHASE PLACE.  THEY DISCOVERED THE FRONT DOOR HAD BEEN SMASHED IN AND THE REGISTER DRAWERS HAD BEEN BROKEN OFF THE COUNTERS.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA BREAKING INTO THE BUSINESS AND COMMITTING THEFT.

ON THE AFTERNOON OF JUNE 6TH, A CUSTOMER SNUCK INTO THE BACK ROOM OF THE SHELL STATION LOCATED AT 902 S BROADWAY AND STOLE AN EMPLOYEES PURSE WHILE SHE WAS DISTRACTED.  THE SUSPECT THEN DROVE TO SPEEDWAY ON LEESTOWN ROAD AND PURCHASED BEER AND CIGARETTES WITH THE STOLEN CREDIT CARDS.

ON SATURDAY MAY 20TH AT 3AM AND AGAIN AT 6AM, TWO SUBJECTS BROKE INTO A FOOD STORAGE SHED ATTACHED TO THE PUPUSERIA RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 1205 VERSAILLES ROAD.  THEY MADE OFF WITH SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF FOOD AND SUPPLIES.

BACK ON NOVEMBER 15TH, A SUSPECT BROKE INTO A HOME ON SAINT PHILLIPS DRIVE THROUGH A KITCHEN WINDOW WHILE THE HOME OWNER WAS AT WORK.  HE STOLE COINS, A LAPTOP COMPUTER, JEWELRY, AND A CREDIT CARD.  HE WAS CAPTURED ON CAMERA USING THE STOLEN CREDIT CARD AT SHELL LOCATED AT 2420 RICHMOND ROAD TO PURCHASE CARTONS OF CIGARETTES THE SAME DAY.

ON THE EVENING OF MARCH 9TH A VICTIM ON COLD HARBOR DRIVE HAD CREDIT CARDS STOLEN FROM HIS TRUCK.  THE FOLLOWING MORNING HE LEARNED THEY HAD BEEN USED AT WALGREENS LOCATED AT 2000 HARRODSBURG ROAD AND A MINIT MART NEXT DOOR.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA USING THE STOLEN CREDIT CARDS.

LEXINGTON DETECTIVES ARE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP IN SOLVING THESE COLD CASE ROBBERIES.  ON THE EVENING OF JANUARY 10TH AT 10:20PM, A SUSPECT FIRST ENTERED THE BP STATION LOCATED AT 2221 RICHMOND ROAD. HE ENCOUNTERED RESISITANCE AND FIRED A SHOT NARROWLY MISSING THE CLERK DURING THE ROBBERY. TWO HOURS LATER, HE ROBBED THE SPEEDWAY STATION LOCATED AT 1281 E NEW CIRCLE ROAD.  HE IS DESCRIBED AS MALE BLACK, 5’9” 150LBS, AND IN HIS LATE TEENS OR EARLY TWENTIES.  HE MAY HAVE BEEN OPERATING A BLACK FORD TAURUS AT THE TIME.

ON APRIL 9TH AROUND 11:30PM, A VICTIM WAS ALERTED BY HER BANK THAT SOMEONE WAS USING HER CREDIT CARD TO MAKE CASH BACK TRANSACTIONS AT KROGER ON ALEXANDRIA DRIVE.  THE VICTIM REMEMBERED SHE HAD LEFT HER CARD IN HER CAR AND WENT OUTSIDE TO FIND HER DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW HAD BEEN SMASHED AND SOMEONE HAD TAKEN HER WALLET.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA USING THE VICTIMS CARDS.

4/18/2017 - Kroger Purse Snatching and ForgerySOLVED

ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12TH, A VICTIM’S PURSE WAS STOLEN FROM HER CART AT KROGER LOCATED AT 3101 RICHMOND ROAD.  THERE WAS A DELAY IN THE REPORTED THEFT DUE TO THE VICTIM BELIEVING SHE SOMEHOW MISLAID HER PURSE.  DURING THAT TIME, 5 OF HER CHECKS WERE FORGED AND USED AT KROGER AND AT WALMART LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET AT 3180 RICHMOND ROAD.  THE SUSPECTS WERE CAUGHT ON SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS.
