11/27/2017 - Lexington Catholic Theft and Fraud

ON THE EVENING OF SEPTEMBER 25TH, LEXINGTON CATHOLIC WAS HAVING A BASKETBALL GAME AND SEVERAL STUDENTS WERE IN ATTENDANCE.  THE VICTIM DID NOT LOCK HER CAR DOORS AND LEFT HER PURSE IN HER CAR.  HER PARENTS BEGAN TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF MULTIPLE FRAUDULENT PURCHASES ON MULTIPLE CREDIT CARDS.  SURVEILLANCE IMAGES CAPTURED THIS SUSPECT COMMITTING THE FRAUDULENT PURCHASES.

11/20/2017 - Local Hospital TheftSOLVED

A COUPLE FROM OUT OF TOWN WERE IN LEXINGTON HAVING A BABY AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL IN LATE OCTOBER.  SOMEONE ALLEGEDLY GAINED ACCESS TO THEIR HOSPITAL ROOM AND STOLE CREDIT CARDS FROM THE VICTIM’S PURSE.  THE SUSPECT USED THE STOLEN CREDIT CARDS TO MAKE ONLINE AND IN STORE FRUADULENT PURCHASES AT TOYS R US AND LOWES.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA USING THE STOLEN CREDIT CARDS.

11/13/2017 - Prositiution, Theft and FraudSOLVED

IN LATE SEPTEMBER, A GROUP OF THREE SUBJECTS WERE IN LEXINGTON (POSSIBLY FROM THE MEMPHIS TENNESSEE AREA) SOLICITING PROSTITUTION.  DURING THAT TIME, THEY WERE ABLE TO STEAL CREDIT CARDS AND WERE CAPTURED ON CAMERA FRAUDULENTLY USING THE CARDS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY TO INCLUDE BEST BUY, WAL MART, MARSHALS, AND FAMILY DOLLAR.

11/7/2017 - Dillards Purse Theft and Fraud

ON OCTOBER 1ST, A WOMAN AND HER HUSBAND WERE SHOPPING AT DILLARDS IN FAYETTE MALL.  IN THE COURSE OF TRYING ON SHOES, THE VICTIM PLACED HER PURSE UNDER HER SEAT.  APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR LATER, SHE BEGAN RECEIVING ALERTS THAT HER CREDIT CARDS WERE BEING USED AT TARGET IN THE SAME AREA.  SHE CHECKED INSIDE HER PURSE AND DISCOVERED THAT SOMEONE HAD STOLEN HER WALLET.  THE SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA LEAVING THE STORE AND GETTING INTO A WHITE DODGE RAM PICKUP.

10/30/2017 - Hartland Midnight Home Burglary

ON MONDAY OCTOBER 9TH AROUND 11:40PM HOMEOWNERS IN THE HARTLAND AREA LOCKED UP THEIR HOME AND WENT TO BED.  THEY WERE AWOKEN AT 1:30AM TO MESSAGES FROM THEIR CREDIT CARD COMPANY INDICATING FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS ON THEIR ACCOUNT.  THEY WENT DOWNSTAIRS TO FIND THEIR GARAGE DOOR HALFWAY OPEN AND A PURSE HAD BEEN STOLEN FROM THEIR DOWNSTAIRS OFFICE.  SOMEONE HAD ENTERED THEIR HOME UNDETECTED WHILE THEY WERE SLEEPING.  A SUSPECT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA USING THE STOLEN CREDIT CARDS AT KROGER IN TATES CREEK SHOPPING CENTRE.

10/23/2017 - Lowes Repeat Felony Tool TheftsSOLVED

ON JULY 6TH, A WOMAN ENTERED LOWES LOCATED AT 2300 GREY LAG WAY. SHE LOADED DEWALT TOOL SETS INTO HER CART VALUED IN EXCESS OF $500 AND EXITED THE STORE.  LOSS PREVENTION TRIED TO STOP THE SUSPECT BUT SHE REFUSED.  SHE GOT INTO A WHITE OR SILVER SUV (POSSIBLY A JEEP LIBERTY OR SIMILAR MAKE) AND FLED.  LOSS PREVENTION RECOGNIZED HER AS A REPEAT OFFENDER FROM PREVIOUS FELONY SHOPLIFTING INCIDENTS.

10/9/2017 - Auto Theft

ON SEPTEMBER 21ST AROUND 5AM, A VICTIM LEFT HIS FORD EXPLORER RUNNING AS HE PARKED AND ENTERED THE MARATHON STATION LOCATED AT 313 W NEW CIRCLE ROAD.  AN UNKNOWN MALE BLACK LEF THE STORE AND WAS LOITERING OUTSIDE THE BUSINESS.  HE USED THE OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL THE VICTIM’S VEHICLE.  IT WAS RECOVERED THE FOLLOWING DAY BUT WAS NOT IN POSSESSION OF THE PERSON WHO STOLE IT.

ON JULY 25TH, LOSS PREVENTION WORKERS AT KROGER ON BRYAN STATION ROAD ATTEMPTED TO STOP A SHOPLIFTER PUSHING OUT LAUNDRY DETERGENT AND RELATED PRODUCTS PAST ALL POINTS OF SALE.  THE SUSPECT FOUGHT WITH LOSS PREVENTION OFFICERS AND WAS ABLE TO FLEE THE SCENE.  THE SUSPECT HAS A DISTINGUISHABLE TATTOO ON HIS RIGHT HAND.

ON APRIL 9TH, 10TH, AND 12TH OF THIS YEAR, A SUBJECT ENTERED TARGET LOCATED AT 131 W REYNOLDS ROAD AND WALKED OUT WITH 4 DYSON AND BISSELL VACUUMS ALTOGETHER VALUED AT $1750.  HE LATER RETURNED ON JUNE 16TH BUT DID NOT GET AWAY WITH ANY MERCHANDISE.  HE IS DESCRIBED AS MALE WHITE 6’-6’4” 220-250LBS.  HE MAY HAVE FLED IN A BROWN OR BLACK MINIVAN MISSING A FRONT HUBCAP.  THE SUSPECT ALSO HAS A TATTOO OF A SKULL ON HIS LEFT FOREARM.

FROM MAY OF 2017 TO SEPTEMBER 11, 2017 AN UNKNOWN MALE HAS BEEN IMPACTING LOCAL AREA BUSINESSES THROUGH SHOPLIFTING EXPENSIVE ITEMS.  THIS SUSPECT HAS STOLEN OR ATTEMPTED TO STEAL YETI COOLERS, FLAT SCREEN TELEVISIONS, AND APPROXIMATELY $1000 IN POLO BRAND CLOTHING.  HE HAS IMPACTED ALL AREAS OF LEXINGTON INCLUDING FAYETTE MALL AND HAMBURG AND HAS SHOPLIFTED FROM MEIJER, CABELAS, SPORTSMANS WAREHOUSE, AND MACYS.
