12/15/2011 - ROBBERY

On December 11, 2011, at approximately 2100, the above subject entered Video Max on Winchester Road, produced a large silver in color revolver and robbed the store.  The suspect is described as 5’08 – 5’10 and approximately 250lbs wearing glasses and a blue bandana around his neck.  The suspect then fled the store.

On Thursday, November 10, 2011 at about 3:55 pm, an unknown male robbed the Fifth Third Bank located at 2051 Pleasant Ridge Drive, Lexington, KY.  The suspect presented the teller with a demand note.  The suspect fled with cash and a dye pack, which exploded.  The suspect is a white male, 5’10”, mid to late 30’s.  He was wearing a dark baseball cap with the “Nike” swoosh emblem across the front, and a dark zip up jacket with “Nautica Competition” across the back.  The suspect is believed to be driving a silver Nissan Versa.

 

FYI – approximately one hour later, this same suspect is believed to have robbed a bank in Richmond, KY.

The Lexington Division of Police is attempting to identify and locate the suspect believed to be connected to today’s bank robbery at 1500 Leestown Road.

 

Today, September 15, 2011, at approximately 2:18 p.m. officers were called to Chase Bank, located at 1500 Leestown Road, in reference to a bank robbery. Upon arrival witnesses told officers that a man, armed with a knife, demanded money from employees. (The suspect also implied he had another weapon at the time of the robbery). The employees complied with the suspect’s demands. After taking the money he fled the area on foot.

 

He is described as a male black , approximately 5’9 and 175 lbs. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodies, sunglasses and a hat (photos attached).

The Lexington Division of Police is looking for a suspect connected to the August 31, 2011 robbery at American Founders Bank, 3616 Walden Drive.

 

At approximately 8:44 a.m., Division of Police officers responded to a robbery alarm at the American Founders Bank. Upon arrival, witnesses informed officers that a female, white suspect entered the bank carrying a large blue canvas bag.

 

The suspect made a verbal demand for cash; the employees complied. (No weapons were displayed and there were no injuries). After taking the money, the suspect fled the area, in a mid to late 90’s model beige (or tan-colored) Toyota Camry. The license plate was covered. 

 

The suspect was wearing the following items: a white dust mask, large dark sunglasses, pink toboggan, tan-colored, long-sleeved button up shirt, black pants and black shoes (Photos/Video Attached).

 

The suspect involved in this situation is believed to be connected to two 2010 robberies:

  • Forcht Bank: Southland Drive
  • 5/3 Bank:  Euclid Avenue

7/12/2011 - BANK ROBBERY

On July 8, 2011, Chase Bank located at 1617 Clays Mill Road, Lexington, KY was robbed.

 

At about 1:57 p.m., on July 8, the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a demand note which made a demand for money and implied that the suspect was armed with a gun.  The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  There were no injuries.

 

The suspect is described as a heavyset white male, approximately 6’0”, with brown hair.  He was wearing a two tone blue baseball cap with “UK” across the front; and a blue button-up shirt. He was carrying a blue nylon type bag (in which he placed the stolen money).  He implied that he was armed with a gun.

The Lexington Division of Police is working to indentify a suspect involved in the September 12, 2010 robbery at 167 E. Reynolds Road, Lexington, KY.

 

Officers were called to 167 E. Reynolds Road (Captain D’s), on the 12th, at approximately 10:15 p.m. Upon arrival witnesses told officers that a man, wearing a Richard Nixon mask, entered the business, showed a gun and demanded cash.

 

After demanding money from the clerk, the suspect led all of the store workers to the businesses’ back office. The suspect then forced one of the employees to empty the safe. The suspect placed the money in a camouflage bag, led all of the employees into the store’s cooler and then fled the business through the back door.

 

The suspect is described as Black male, 5’3”-5’4”, with a stocky build. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a pair of blue (or possibly dark-colored) coveralls, gloves and a Richard Nixon Halloween mask.

The Lexington Division of Police is attempting to locate a robbery suspect in connection to the June 12, 2010 robbery at Forcht Bank, located at 140 Southland Drive, Lexington, KY.

 

At approximately 9:26 a.m. on June 12, a white female suspect entered the lobby of Forcht Bank with her face concealed behind a surgical mask and dark sunglasses.  Once inside she approached a teller and demanded money, while implying she was armed by hiding one of her hands inside a bag that she was carrying. The bank teller complied.  The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect fled in a vehicle which was parked in the bank parking lot.  The suspect vehicle is believed to be a tan Toyota Camry.  The license plate of the vehicle was covered with a dark bag.  The vehicle was last seen on Southland Drive heading towards Nicholasville Road.

This morning, at approximately 9:48 a.m. patrol officers from the Division of Police were dispatched to the National City Bank located at 2309 Woodhill Drive in reference to a robbery of their business. The suspect, described below, entered the bank and immediately approached the teller. There were no other customers in the bank at the time. The suspect was possibly armed with a hand gun and demanded money. The bank employees complied with his demands and then he left on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

On Friday August 8th, 2008 at approximately 1:29 p.m. patrol officers from the Division of Police were dispatched to the Northland Branch of Chase Bank at 1205 North Broadway in reference to a robbery of their business. The suspect, described below, entered the bank and approached the tellers. He implied having a weapon and demanded money. The bank employees complied with his demands and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s. He is 5’8” to 5’9” in height and has a stocky build. He was unshaven and was wearing a camouflage baseball cap with the word “pyrotec” written in yellow lettering on the front of the cap. He was wearing large sunglasses with black frames and brown lenses. He wore a white with blue pin stripes button-down shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Misty Gwinner was last seen on April 2, 2005 at 10:00 AM on Court Street in Cincinnatti, OH. On Tuesday April 5th, 2005, at 9:56 AM the Lexington Division of Police responded to the 700 block of North Cleveland Rd in reference to a deceased female. It was not until three weeks later this agency identified the female as Misty Gwinner.
