Nicholasville Road Burglary
March 26, 2025

On March 7, 2025 at 9:42 a.m., Lexington Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Nicholasville Road in reference to a burglary. The complainant advised when they arrived they noticed the front door unsecured. After reviewing security footage the complainant observed an unknown male subject enter and remove money from the register before leaving the store.

South Broadway Robbery
March 19, 2025

On March 14 around 4:31 a.m., Lexington Police responded to the 800 block of South Broadway reference a Robbery. The complainant advised the suspect entered the store and asked for merchandise behind the counter.

 

The complainant advised when they turned to grab more merchandise the suspect asks for, the suspect rushes behind the counter and grabs the merchandise causing the complainant to fall into the counter causing pain to their hip and leg. The suspect then fled with the merchandise.

On March 3, 2025 at 8:54 p.m., Lexington Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Preakness Drive in reference to a theft. The victim advised the suspect removed a package from the front porch of her residence.

Stone Ave package Theft
February 26, 2025

On January 22, 2025, officers made contact with the victim of a theft. The victim advised an unknown subject removed a package from the porch of his residence in the 200 block of Stone Avenue. The suspect is described as a male in his 30’s   wearing dark clothing and a mask.

Saron Drive Robbery
February 19, 2025

On February 6, 2025, around 10:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Saron Drive reference a Robbery. The victim advised she observed the suspect exiting with unpaid for items. When she made contact with the subject he pointed a firearm at her and stated “I’ll kill you”, before fleeing the store. The suspect is described as a male, 18-20 years of age wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with brown curly hair.

Nicholasville Road Robbery
February 12, 2025

On January 16, 2025, around 2:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Nicholasville Road reference a Robbery. Employees reported three subjects entered the store with hoods pulled over their heads and face coverings and took three cash drawers. One of the subjects was armed with an AR Pistol and another with a pistol.

Legends Lane Robbery
January 29, 2025

On January 12, 2024, around 1:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Legend’s Lane reference a Robbery. The victim advised an unknown male subject attempted to push a cart full of items past all points of sale, injuring her with the cart in the process. The subject then flees on foot towards Ballpark Drive.

Plaza Drive Burglary
January 15, 2025

STATUS: OPEN

On December 24, 2024, around 5:01 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Plaza Drive reference a Burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed the glass in the front door was broken and the security gate was damaged. Security video shows a subject in all black clothing wearing gloves damage the door and then enter. The subject can be seen removing items from a shelf, exiting the store and then fleeing the scene.

Pasadena Drive Bank Robbery

On December 27, 2024, around11:48 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Pasadena Drive reference a  Robbery. Upon arrival, witnesses advised the suspect handed the teller a note implying they would be hurt if they didn’t give the suspect cash. The suspect then fled on foot. He is described as a male black, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

Angliana Avenue Burglary
December 17, 2024

On December 04, 2024, around 5:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Angliana Avenue reference a Burglary. Upon arrival, the victim advised officers the padlock had been damaged and removed from their storage unit and items unlawfully removed. A second victim advised officers the lock on two of her storage units had been damaged and items unlawfully removed.

Target Burglary
December 11, 2024

On November 20, 2024, around 3:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Target at 131 West Reynolds Road reference a Burglary. Upon arrival, Officers found the glass in the front door was broken and a brick was located within the store. Camera footage shows, at 3:09 a.m., a suspect walking around the store before throwing the brick through the glass door. Two suspects then enter the store, damage teller boxes and unlawfully remove merchandise before fleeing the store.

Versailles Road Murder
December 04, 2024

On December 1, 2024, around 8:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Versailles Road reference shots fired. A short time later, a male victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Quaynell King. Witnesses at the scene advised the suspect fled in an unknown vehicle

High Street Robbery
November 27, 2024

On November 07, 2024 around 10:20AM, Lexington Police responded to the 800 block of East High Street reference a Robbery. The complainant advised the suspect implied he had a gun while keeping a hand in his pocket and then unlawfully removed merchandise from the store. The suspect fled in a tan/gold Toyota Highlander with damage on the front of the driver side. On November 07, 2024 around 10:20AM, Lexington Police responded to the 800 block of East High Street reference a Robbery. The complainant advised the suspect implied he had a gun while keeping a hand in his pocket and then unlawfully removed merchandise from the store. The suspect fled in a tan/gold Toyota Highlander with damage on the front of the driver side.



Oleika Temple Theft
November 20, 2024

STATUS: CLOSED

On October 16, 2024 around 1:04PM, Lexington Police responded to the Oleika Temple reference a theft. The complainant advised their engraved  granite headstone had been stolen on October 16 at 3:40AM. A white single cab pickup truck was observed on camera entering the parking lot. The suspect exits the vehicle, grabs the headstone and places it on the passenger side before leaving the area toward Southland Drive.

South Upper Street Criminal Mischief
November 13, 2024

On November 3, 2024 around 1:55AM, Lexington Police responded to the 500 block of South Upper Street after hearing gunfire. When they arrived a large crowd was attempting to leave the area and gunfire could still be heard. While there were no reported injuries, multiple vehicles in the area sustained damages. Lexington Police are attempting to identify and locate multiple persons of interest.

Church Street Assault
October 02, 2024

STATUS: OPEN

On August 10,2024, Lexington Police were contacted in regards to an Assault report. The victim advised he was he was walking through a parking lot on Church Street when he was assaulted and his phone taken by two female suspects. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground and knocked his phone out of his hand. The phone was taken by one of the suspects.

Jane Street Robbery
September 26, 2024

On September 3 around 10:50 p.m. , Lexington Police were dispatched to the 1000 Block of Jane Street, reference a Robbery. The suspects approached the victim, presented a firearm, and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspects then fled on foot towards High Street. 

One of the suspect is described as a younger male black wearing gray pants and gray and blue shoes and a tattoo on his face above his left eyebrow.

 

The second suspect is described as a older male white wearing gray pants and a black shirt with a tattoo on one of his arms.

East New Circle Burglary

On August 25 around 9:20 a.m. , Lexington Police were dispatched to the 500 Block of East New Circle Road, reference a Burglary and Criminal Mischief. The complainant advised the night prior, an unknown subject broke the back window, entered the business and then was observed on camera exiting with a motorcycle. The motorcycle was located a short distance away.

South Limestone Shooting

On September 1 around 2:23 a.m. , Lexington Police were dispatched to the 300 Block of South Limestone, reference shots fired. Two victims suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds were transported to a local hospital.

Theft by Deception
September 04, 2024

The complainant contacted the Lexington Police Department in regards to Theft by Deception. From April 2024 to July 2024 multiple purchases were made using a debit card that was in the victim’s possession. After reviewing the purchases, it was discovered the suspect was using contactless payment in order to use the victim’s account to make purchases.
