On December 17, 2023, the Lexington Police Department was contacted regarding two burglaries in the 100 block of Louie Place. After reviewing video, Detectives determined the same suspects to be responsible for both burglaries.
On January 09, 2024, Lexington Police responded to the 3600 block of Walden Drive reference Criminal Mischief. Witnesses advised an unidentified female used what is believed to be a tire iron to break the rear window and tail light of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was observed exiting a small white pick-up truck believed to be a Ford Ranger prior to causing the damage.
On December 9, 2023, Lexington Police were contacted by multiple victims in regards to Criminal Mischief. It appears the suspect spray painted multiple vehicles and a business with orange spray paint.
The suspect appears to be a male Hispanic in his early 20’s wearing a Nirvana T-shirt with a blue and orange jacket and jeans.
On September 24, 2023, Lexington Police were in the area of Main Street when they heard shots fired from Wrenn Court. When they arrived they located Ty’Juan Pearson suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Officers advised several subjects were observed leaving the area that may have witnessed what occurred.
On December 17, 2023, Lexington Police were contacted in regards to a theft from the 200 block of Campsie Place. The victim advised an unknown female removed a package from her mailbox.

The Bluegrass Crime Stopper Crime of the Week is Robbery 1st Degree. On November 14, the Lexington Police Department was dispatched to Family Dollar at 2181 Versailles Road for a Robbery. The victim advised the suspect attempted to leave the store with a basket of merchandise he hadn’t paid for. When the victim attempted to stop him the suspect struck him in the face before fleeing the store.
The Bluegrass Crime Stopper Crime of the Week is Robbery 1st Degree. The incident occurred on October 10, at 12:35 a.m., at the Waffle House located at 1134 Winchester Road. The victim advised the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money before fleeing the store on foot
From September 22, 2023 through October 15, Lexington Police Department responded to multiple reports of Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. Multiple victim’s reported damage to they’re vehicles.
The reports are all from the downtown area with multiple victim’s vehicles being at the same location.
On September 22, 2023 at 7:22 a.m., Officers with the Lexington Police Department where dispatched to Candlewood Suites at 603 Adcolor Drive in reference to a Theft by Unlawful Taking-Firearm and Theft by Unlawful Taking-Contents from Vehicle. The victims advised the suspect’s damaged the back drivers side window and removed multiple guns from the vehicle, to include two rifles.
On September 9, 2023 at 3:24 a.m., Officers with the Lexington Police Department where dispatched to the Shell Station at 6400 Polo Club Lane in reference to a robbery. The victim advised a male entered the store with a rifle and demanded money from the register. The suspect places the money in his backpack and then demands vape cartridges. The victim gives the suspect vape cartridges valued at $375 and the suspect then flees the store on foot.
The Lexington Police Department is attempting to identify suspects wanted in connection with Theft by Unlawful Taking-Vehicle and Kidnapping-Minor. On June 29, 2023 at 4:34 a.m., officers were dispatched to Speedway On Nicholasville Road reference a stolen vehicle with a four year old inside. The vehicle was recovered a short time later with the juvenile was inside.
The suspect is wanted in connection with multiple incidents of Theft of Mail Matter. A resident in the 100 block of York Street advised on 2 different occasions the same suspect took packages from the front porch of his residence.
On Friday, March 31 at 0301, the Lexington Police Department was dispatched to 3469 Buckhorn Drive in reference to a Robbery. The victim advised the suspect entered the store and said “Give me all the money in the drawer”, while showing a firearm in the front pocket of his sweatshirt.
On Tuesday, May 9th at 1759, the Lexington Police Department was dispatched to 4100 block of Tate’s Creek Centre Drive in reference to a Robbery. The victim advised the suspect approached him as he was attempting to load something into the trunk of his vehicle and demanded his keys. When the victim refused to give them the suspect struck him with a closed fist. The victim tried to flee from the suspect who followed him and struck him three more times before fleeing on foot.
On 4//19/23, Lexington Police responded to 280 Meijer Way, reference criminal mischief. Upon arrival they observed damage to the ATM. Security footage from the scene shows a black F250 with what appears to be three male suspects drive up to the machine and hook a chain to the truck and the machine. The truck then drives forward in an attempt to gain entry into the machine. The F250 was located a short distance away and appears to have been stolen and then abandoned. There have been four ATM breaches in Lexington this year. All occurred in April, three occurred in 48 hours.
On 3/29/2023, Lexington Police responded to Game Exchange located at 150 W. Tiverton Way in reference to a robbery. The victim advised the suspect entered the store within minutes of her unlocking the door for the day. He approached the register and advised the victim to empty the register “or else”. The victim, fearing she would be harmed gave the suspect the tray from the register which contained $500. The suspect then exited the store and fled the area on foot. He is described as a male black approximately 6 feet tall with an average build.
On Friday March 10th, 2023 at 1645 hours East Sector Officers were dispatched to the Wing Zone located on Eureka Springs Drive in reference to a robbery. Upon Officers arrival they made contact with the owner of the business, who stated he was walking into the business while holding two bags of change totaling approximately $2000. A black SUV pulled up next to the victim when the suspect exited the vehicle, taking the money from the victim. The victim tried to enter the suspect vehicle to retrieve the money but was assaulted, receiving minor injury to his face. The suspect vehicle fled in an unknown direction. The vehicle, identified as a Jeep Grand Cherokee was determined to be stolen.
At 8:47 p.m., on Sunday, February 19, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Ash Street, reference a shooting. Upon arrival they located two juvenile victims. One suffering from a graze wound, the other from gunshot wounds. The victim suffering from gunshot wounds was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital.
