On March 27th 2022 the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office Deputies attempted to arrest Justin Waldrop on three outstanding bench warrants out of Jessamine County. Waldrop was operating a stolen vehicle from Paducah, Kentucky. After a brief physical encounter, Waldrop was able to get in his vehicle and flee. He now has an additional warrant for Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree against a Police Officer, Assault 3rd Degree against a Police Officer, Receiving Stolen Property $10,000 or more, and Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle). Justin Waldrop is considered Armed and Dangerous.

Three of those warrants are for Failure to Appear related to charges of Fleeing and Evading 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Possession of Controlled Substance –Methamphetamine, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Evidence among several others. The Lexington Police Department along with the University of Kentucky Police Department is looking for Waldeck “Wally” Sampson. He has a total of eight warrants in Fayette County. He has two warrants issued for Theft by Unlawful Taking-Parts from Vehicle $1,000 >$10,000. Two warrants for Failure to Appear reference four counts of misdemeanor shoplifting, two warrants reference misdemeanor criminal mischief, one warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and one warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. UKPD says “He has several Facebook posts that show him in possession of different handguns and is still believed to be in the Lexington area. He is the suspect in numerous catalytic converter theft cases on UK’s campus as well as the greater Lexington area.”

One is for Theft by Unlawful Taking over $10,000 but under $1,000,000. The other is for felony Shoplifting. He also has two warrants out of Scott County. One is reference felony shoplifting and the other is a Failure to Appear reference misdemeanor shoplifting and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd. He also has two warrants out of Boone County. Both are for Probation Violation related to misdemeanor shoplifting and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd.
